Senior Consultant - Operational Excellence

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated Senior Consultant focused on Operational Excellence to join their dispersed consulting team, serving clients in and around Bradford, West Yorkshire . This role is central to helping organizations streamline their processes, improve efficiency, and reduce costs. You will apply your expertise in Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies to diagnose operational challenges and implement sustainable solutions. The position is ideal for a proactive consultant who can work autonomously, drive change, and deliver measurable results for a diverse client base, contributing to the economic vitality of West Yorkshire.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead diagnostic assessments of client operations to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement using data-driven approaches.
• Design and implement Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and quality.
• Develop and deliver training programs to client teams on operational excellence principles and tools.
• Manage projects focused on process optimization, supply chain improvement, and cost reduction.
• Monitor and report on the impact of implemented solutions, ensuring long-term sustainability and client satisfaction, often from a remote working base.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in operational consulting, process improvement, or a similar role within industry.
• Certification in Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt minimum, Black Belt preferred) is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in process mapping, data analysis, and statistical tools.
• Demonstrated ability to lead projects and manage change initiatives effectively in a remote or hybrid setting.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
