Grow here.** We are looking to recruit a Senior Consultant into the Master Planning & Urban Space team of our Transport Planning Business in either the St Albans (Hertfordshire) or London Aldgate offices. You will work within a large, collaborative team and support the delivery of strategic transport planning projects across the UK and globally. Your role will be transport planning focusing on **pedestrian modelling** , working mostly with public sector clients, and providing technical advice. In this role you will work closely with our Principal Consultants and Associate Directors within the Master Planning & Urban Space team, you will be expected to guide and assist junior staff in effectively delivering project data. You will need to have knowledge and demonstrable experience of technically leading pedestrian modelling projects and be proficient with developing models, undertaking calibration and validation, producing reports and presentations, and have some experience of project management and supervisory skills. AECOM has a wide range of multi-disciplinary teams, a global reach and diversified market penetration. Our clients include national and local transport authorities, councils, private developers, and international clients. The successful Consultant will join a growing Transport Planning team that is actively involved in the delivery of projects and services to a range of both local and national clients including Network Rail, Transport for London, as well as a global reach in the sports and mega event space which offers the opportunity to work on a range of unique projects.
• *Job Duties** As a Senior Consultant, you will need to provide support to Principal Consultants and Associate Directors on technical, managerial and financial matters, and also provide support in mentoring junior staff in terms of enhancing their technical skills and professional development. You will be expected to help prepare scope and fee estimates for new projects and to ensure projects are delivered to budget and that KPIs are met.

• *Qualifications**
• *Ready to push the limits of whats possible?** _Heres what were looking for:_ Strong experience in using pedestrian modelling software such as Legion or Viswalk Good experience in data collection and data analysis Strong numerical and analytical skills and excellent working knowledge of MS Office tools Good ability to deal with complex modelling issues Previous experience in the delivery of modelling projects that encompass the needs of all relevant transport users Familiarity with relevant guidance e.g. NR SCPDM and TfL Best Practice Guidance Modelling with LEGION and the Green Guide Relevant BSc/MSc/BEng Civil Engineering or Transport planning degree Supervision of workload and support to junior staff Client contact and liaison Experience in producing reports to a high technical standard Passionate about delivering high quality transport planning projects for our clients Excellent numeracy, verbal and written communication skills Experience of presenting to project teams Willingness to challenge in a positive and engaging manner Keen to work as part of a team and to develop and progress career development Takes responsibility for the health, safety and wellbeing of all staff
