About the Role
Our client is searching for a strategic and creative Senior Content Strategist to join their expanding, fully remote marketing team. This role is critical for developing and executing a comprehensive content strategy that enhances brand storytelling, drives engagement, and supports key business objectives. You will oversee the creation, distribution, and optimization of content across various digital channels, ensuring a consistent and compelling brand voice. As a remote-first position, you will collaborate extensively with internal stakeholders, including marketing, sales, and product teams, fostering a culture of data-informed content creation and continuous improvement in achieving our communication goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a holistic content strategy aligned with business goals and target audience needs.
- Oversee the editorial calendar, ensuring timely and high-quality content production across all platforms (blog, website, social media, email).
- Conduct audience research and competitor analysis to identify content opportunities and gaps.
- Optimize content for search engines (SEO) and user engagement, analyzing performance metrics.
- Collaborate with designers, writers, and other content creators to produce engaging multimedia content.
- Manage content governance, style guides, and brand voice consistency.
- Measure and report on content marketing performance, providing actionable insights for future strategies.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Content Strategist , Content Manager, or similar role, with a strong portfolio of content initiatives.
- Deep understanding of content marketing principles, SEO, and social media strategies.
- Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Experience with content management systems (CMS) and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a remote, fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
