About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly creative and analytical Senior Content Strategist to develop and execute compelling content initiatives in Sunderland . You will be responsible for defining our content vision, planning editorial calendars, and overseeing the creation and distribution of engaging content across multiple platforms, including websites, blogs, social media, and email campaigns. This role requires a deep understanding of audience needs, SEO best practices, and the ability to translate complex information into clear, concise, and impactful messaging. You will work closely with marketing, product, and design teams to ensure content aligns with brand strategy and drives business objectives, fostering a data-informed approach to content creation and optimization.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy aligned with brand goals and audience needs.
- Plan, create, and curate engaging, high-quality content for various channels, including blog posts, articles, website copy, social media updates, and video scripts.
- Conduct keyword research and apply SEO best practices to optimize content for search engines and maximize reach.
- Manage the editorial calendar, ensuring timely publication and consistent delivery of content.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, marketers, and product managers, to ensure content accuracy and effectiveness.
- Analyze content performance metrics and use insights to refine strategies and improve engagement.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Content Strategist , Content Manager, or similar role, with a strong portfolio of published work.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a keen eye for detail and narrative flow.
- Proficiency in SEO principles and tools, and the ability to integrate keywords naturally into content.
- Experience with content management systems (CMS) and marketing automation platforms.
- Strong analytical skills to measure content effectiveness and inform future strategies.
- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
