About the Role

Our client is seeking an innovative and experienced Senior Content Strategist to join their marketing department in Leeds . You will be responsible for developing and executing a robust content strategy that drives engagement, supports SEO efforts, and achieves business objectives. This role involves leading content creation, managing editorial calendars, and ensuring all content is high-quality, on-brand, and resonates with target audiences. You will work closely with design, product, and marketing teams to create cohesive and impactful content experiences that elevate the brand and connect with customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy aligned with business goals, target audience needs, and SEO best practices.
• Oversee the creation, editing, and publishing of various content formats, including blog posts, articles, website copy, case studies, and social media content.
• Manage the editorial calendar, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality content across all platforms.
• Conduct keyword research and audience analysis to identify content opportunities and inform content creation.
• Collaborate with designers, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders to produce compelling and accurate content.
• Analyze content performance metrics and use insights to optimize future content strategies and improve engagement.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in content strategy, content marketing, or a related field.
• Proven ability to develop and execute successful content strategies that drive measurable results.
• Strong understanding of SEO principles and how to optimize content for search engines.
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a keen eye for detail and brand voice.
• Experience with content management systems (CMS) and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
