Key Responsibilities

• Design, program, and commission PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems for industrial automation projects.
• Develop and implement sophisticated control strategies to optimize process performance and efficiency.
• Integrate various automation components, including sensors, actuators, and drives, into cohesive systems.
• Perform system diagnostics, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for control system issues.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to define system requirements and deliver tailored automation solutions.
• Provide technical support and training to clients and internal maintenance teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in industrial control systems engineering and automation.
• Proficiency with major PLC platforms (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell/Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi) and HMI/SCADA software.
• Strong understanding of industrial networking, instrumentation, and motor control.
• Experience with robotic systems and motion control is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills for effective collaboration in Sheffield .
