Key Responsibilities
- Design, program, and commission complex industrial control systems using PLC, SCADA, and HMI platforms.
- Develop and implement advanced algorithms for process automation and optimization.
- Integrate various electrical and mechanical components into cohesive control systems.
- Conduct system diagnostics, troubleshooting, and performance tuning to ensure operational excellence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define control system requirements and specifications.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on control system design and best practices.
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in designing and implementing industrial control systems.
- Proficiency with major PLC manufacturers (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell) and SCADA/HMI software.
- Strong understanding of automation principles, feedback control theory, and industrial communication protocols.
- Experience with motion control and robotics is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment in Bristol .
