Key Responsibilities
- Develop, validate, and implement statistical models for credit scoring and risk assessment.
- Analyze credit portfolios to identify trends, assess risk exposures, and monitor key risk indicators.
- Contribute to the design and enhancement of credit policies and procedures.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations on credit risk for senior management and regulatory bodies.
- Collaborate with IT and data science teams to ensure data integrity and model implementation accuracy.
Requirements
- Master's degree or PhD in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or Finance.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in credit risk analysis, preferably within a banking environment.
- Proficiency in statistical modeling techniques and software (e.g., SAS, R, Python).
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements related to credit risk (e.g., Basel accords).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, adept at conveying technical information to non-technical audiences.
