Senior Cryptography Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and test advanced cryptographic algorithms and protocols for blockchain applications.
• Develop and secure cryptographic libraries and tools used across the organization.
• Conduct security reviews and threat modeling for new cryptographic implementations.
• Research emerging cryptographic techniques and their application to enhance security and privacy.
• Collaborate with software engineers to integrate cryptographic solutions into product roadmaps.
• Ensure compliance with industry security standards and best practices for cryptographic systems.

Requirements

• Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Cryptography, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in applied cryptography and secure systems design.
• Deep understanding of symmetric and asymmetric encryption, hashing, digital signatures, and zero-knowledge proofs.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Python, or Rust for cryptographic implementation.
• Experience with secure hardware (e.g., HSMs) and post-quantum cryptography is a plus.
• Excellent analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail, required for on-site work in Bradford .
