Our client is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Senior Customer Support Specialist to join their thriving team in Birmingham . In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for providing advanced technical support and resolving complex customer issues, acting as a primary point of escalation for the support team. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining the integrity of our client's services, contributing significantly to the retention and loyalty of their customer base.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert-level technical assistance and troubleshooting for customers via phone, email, and chat.
- Act as a point of escalation for junior support staff, offering guidance and resolving challenging customer problems.
- Document technical issues, solutions, and customer interactions accurately within the CRM system.
- Identify recurring customer issues and provide feedback to product and development teams for service improvement.
- Develop and maintain knowledge base articles and support documentation for both internal and external use.
- Contribute to training initiatives for new and existing customer support team members.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a customer support or helpdesk role, with demonstrated success in handling complex technical issues.
- Strong technical aptitude and understanding of common software and hardware issues.
- Excellent communication skills , both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
- Experience with CRM systems and ticketing platforms (e.g., Zendesk, Salesforce Service Cloud).
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks in a high-pressure environment.
