Senior Cyber Security Consultant

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Cyber Security Consultant to join their team on a contract basis, working a hybrid model based out of Bristol . This role focuses on providing expert security advice and solutions to clients, assessing their security posture, and recommending improvements. You will engage with various stakeholders, identifying risks and developing strategies to mitigate them. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive security assessments, risk analyses, and gap assessments for clients.
• Develop and present strategic recommendations for improving client security postures and controls.
• Advise clients on compliance with relevant regulations and industry best practices.
• Lead the implementation of security solutions, including technical controls and policy development.
• Provide expert guidance on threat intelligence, incident response planning, and business continuity.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted security advisor.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in cyber security consulting or a senior security advisory role.
• Proven track record of conducting security risk assessments and developing security strategies.
• Deep understanding of various security domains: network security, application security, cloud security, and data protection.
• Excellent client-facing communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CRISC are highly desirable.
