Senior Cybersecurity Analyst

About the Role

Our client is looking for a highly skilled Senior Cybersecurity Analyst to join their dedicated security team, operating entirely remotely. You will be responsible for monitoring, detecting, analyzing, and responding to cybersecurity threats and incidents across the organization's IT infrastructure. Key Responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts and events using SIEM tools and other security technologies.
• Investigate and analyze potential security incidents, providing timely and effective responses.

• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and mitigate security risks.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest threat intelligence and cybersecurity trends.
• Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and improve overall security posture.
• Create detailed reports on security incidents, risks, and recommendations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations, incident response, or threat analysis.
• In-depth knowledge of network security, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint security solutions.
• Experience with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar).
• Familiarity with vulnerability assessment tools and methodologies.
• Strong understanding of common cyber threats, attack vectors, and mitigation strategies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, comfortable working in a fully remote setting.
