About the Role

Our client is seeking a vigilant and experienced Senior Cybersecurity Analyst to join their dedicated security team in Oxford . Key Responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts and events from various security tools (SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls).

• Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
• Manage and configure security technologies to protect the organization's network and systems.
• Provide cybersecurity awareness training to employees.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on threat detection and incident response.
• Strong knowledge of common cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and attack vectors.
• Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) systems and other security tools.
• Familiarity with network protocols, operating systems, and cloud security principles.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or GSEC are highly desirable.
