Senior Cybersecurity Analyst

About the Role

You will be responsible for monitoring security alerts, investigating potential breaches, and developing proactive defense strategies. Key Responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts and events using SIEM and other security tools to detect threats in real-time.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of security incidents, performing forensic investigations and providing detailed reports.
• Develop and implement threat hunting methodologies to proactively identify vulnerabilities and advanced persistent threats.
• Create and maintain security documentation, including incident response plans and playbooks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance security controls and incident response capabilities.
• Stay current with the latest cybersecurity trends, threat intelligence, and attack vectors.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in a Cybersecurity Analyst or similar SOC role.
• Strong understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and common attack techniques.
• Proficiency with security tools such as SIEM (e.g., Splunk, QRadar), IDS/IPS, EDR, and threat intelligence platforms.
• Experience in digital forensics and incident response procedures.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently and effectively communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders remotely.
