Senior Data Analyst - Customer Insights

About the Role

Our client is looking for a highly analytical and experienced Senior Data Analyst to join their customer insights team, operating on a fully remote basis. This role is crucial for understanding customer behaviour, preferences, and lifetime value across their diverse insurance product portfolio. You will delve into complex datasets, identify key trends, and translate findings into actionable strategies that enhance customer acquisition, retention, and overall satisfaction. The ideal candidate possesses advanced analytical skills, proficiency in data manipulation and visualization tools, and the ability to communicate data-driven insights effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences, significantly impacting marketing and product development strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse large customer datasets to identify patterns, trends, and actionable insights related to customer behaviour, segmentation, and lifetime value.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key customer metrics and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
• Design and interpret A/B tests and other experiments to measure the impact of marketing campaigns and product changes.
• Collaborate with marketing, product, and sales teams to develop data-informed strategies for customer acquisition, engagement, and retention.
• Utilize statistical techniques and tools to perform deep-dive analyses and predictive modelling.
• Communicate complex findings and recommendations clearly and concisely to a wide range of audiences.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, or Data Science.
• 5+ years of experience in data analysis, with a strong focus on customer analytics or marketing analytics.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
• Expertise in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and statistical software (e.g., R, Python).
• Strong understanding of statistical concepts and experimental design.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
