About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and analytical Senior Data Analyst to join their growing team in Stoke-on-Trent . This role is critical in extracting valuable insights from complex datasets to inform strategic decision-making across the organization. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining data models, performing in-depth analysis, and presenting findings to stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner. The ideal candidate possesses a strong quantitative background, expertise in data visualization tools, and a proven ability to translate data into business solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and transform large datasets from various sources for analysis.
- Perform in-depth quantitative and qualitative analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate them into analytical requirements.
- Present complex analytical findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and data quality enhancements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a data analyst role.
- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
- Strong experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
- Expertise in statistical analysis and data modeling techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly.
