Key Responsibilities
- Design, construct, install, test, and maintain highly scalable data management systems and data pipelines.
- Develop and optimize ETL/ELT processes to ingest, transform, and load data from various sources into data warehouses or data lakes.
- Build and maintain robust data models that support analytics and reporting needs.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all data platforms.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
- Evaluate and recommend new data technologies and tools to improve data infrastructure.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- Extensive experience as a Data Engineer , with a strong background in building and managing large-scale data systems.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
- Hands-on experience with big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop, Kafka) and cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery).
- Strong programming skills in languages like Python, Scala, or Java.
- Experience with data warehousing concepts, data modeling, and ETL/ELT tools.
