About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Engineer to join their established team in Wolverhampton . This is a critical role focused on designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and infrastructure. You will be responsible for collecting, processing, and transforming vast amounts of data to support business intelligence, analytics, and machine learning initiatives. Key Responsibilities
- Design, construct, install, and maintain highly scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.

- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements.
- Implement and manage data infrastructure, utilizing cloud-based technologies and big data tools.

Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering or a related role.
- Proven expertise in designing and implementing ETL/ELT processes and data pipelines.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with various database systems (relational and NoSQL).
- Experience with big data technologies such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, or Kafka.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their data services.
- Strong programming skills in languages like Python or Scala.
