Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize robust and scalable data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and processing of large datasets.
- Build and maintain data warehousing solutions and data lake architectures.
- Implement data quality frameworks and ensure data integrity across all systems.
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data needs and deliver high-quality data products.
- Develop and manage ETL/ELT processes using various tools and technologies.
- Monitor data pipeline performance and troubleshoot issues proactively.
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in data engineering or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with at least one programming language like Python or Scala.
- Hands-on experience with big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop, Kafka).
- Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and associated services (e.g., S3, Redshift, BigQuery, Data Factory).
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong analytical skills.
