4 months contract with a local authority
Summary
- The Senior Data Insights and Performance Officer is a pivotal role within a local authority, contracted for 4 months. This position is tasked with leading data analysis and performance reporting across designated service areas within the Directorate. The role is crucial for providing expert analytical support, transforming complex data into actionable business insights, and facilitating evidence-based decision-making by senior leaders.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate analytical activities within assigned service areas.
- Interpret complex datasets and present meaningful insights to support strategic and operational decision-making.
- Identify trends, patterns, risks, and opportunities through robust analysis.
- Develop a detailed understanding of allocated service areas to become a trusted subject matter expert in both performance and data.
Requirements:
Essential Experience Required
- Experience working within Adult Social Care and Housing.
- Significant experience working with large and complex datasets.
- Experience producing management information reports, dashboards, and performance reports.
- Experience providing analytical support to senior stakeholders.
Essential Qualifications Required
- Degree-level qualification or equivalent relevant professional experience.
- Evidence of continuous professional development in data analysis, performance management, business intelligence, or a related field.
Additional Information
- Working hours: 37 hours per week.
- Initially based at Bracknell Forest Council Office in Time Square, with flexibility to work from home thereafter.
- Location: Floor 2nd, Time Square, RG12 1JD.
