Senior Data Scientist - AI Focus

About the Role

Our client is a leader in AI & Emerging Technologies and is seeking a highly analytical Senior Data Scientist with a strong focus on AI to join their team in Reading . Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement advanced statistical models and machine learning algorithms for predictive analytics and insights generation.
• Clean, transform, and analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends and patterns.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to deploy models into production environments.
• Design and conduct experiments to test hypotheses and validate findings.
• Communicate complex findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Stay current with the latest advancements in data science and AI methodologies.

Requirements

• Master's or PhD in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
• 5+ years of professional experience as a Data Scientist, with a proven track record in AI/ML.
• Strong programming skills in Python or R, and proficiency with data science libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn).
• Experience with SQL and working with relational databases.
• Familiarity with big data technologies and cloud platforms (e.g., Spark, AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
