About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly analytical and experienced Senior Data Scientist to join their growing team in Stoke-on-Trent . Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sophisticated machine learning models for predictive analytics, classification, and clustering.
• Perform in-depth data exploration, cleaning, and feature engineering on large, complex datasets.
• Design and execute A/B tests and other experiments to evaluate model performance and business impact.
• Translate complex analytical findings into clear, actionable insights and recommendations for business stakeholders.
• Collaborate with data engineers and software developers to deploy models into production environments.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence.

Requirements

• Master's or Ph.D. in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a Data Scientist , with a strong portfolio of successful projects.
• Expertise in programming languages like Python or R, and proficiency with data science libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Solid understanding of statistical modeling, machine learning algorithms, and experimental design.
• Experience with big data technologies and databases (SQL, Spark, Hadoop).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
