About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly analytical and experienced Senior Data Scientist to join their innovative data team in Bradford . Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement advanced statistical models and machine learning algorithms to solve complex business problems.
- Extract, clean, and transform large datasets from various sources to prepare them for analysis and modeling.
- Design and conduct A/B tests and other experiments to evaluate the effectiveness of new strategies and features.
- Communicate complex findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate data science models into production systems.
- Stay current with the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence.
Requirements
- Advanced degree (Masters or PhD) in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in data science, with a proven track record of building and deploying machine learning models.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, and experience with data science libraries (e.g., Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Strong experience with SQL and working with large datasets, including experience with big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop).
- Excellent understanding of statistical modeling, experimental design, and machine learning techniques.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
