About the Role

Our client is looking for a highly analytical and experienced Senior Data Scientist to join their growing data analytics team in Brighton . This role will involve leveraging advanced statistical and machine learning techniques to extract meaningful insights from complex datasets, driving strategic decision-making across the business. You will be responsible for developing predictive models, designing experiments, and communicating findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement machine learning models and statistical analyses to solve business problems.
• Extract, clean, and transform large, complex datasets from various sources.
• Design and conduct A/B tests and other experiments to validate hypotheses and measure impact.
• Communicate complex findings and insights clearly through visualizations and reports.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to integrate data-driven solutions into production systems.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence.

Requirements

• Master's or PhD in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of professional experience in data science or a related analytical role.
• Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in data science (e.g., Python, R).
• Strong experience with machine learning libraries and frameworks (e.g., Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Expertise in SQL and experience working with large datasets and distributed computing platforms (e.g., Spark).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
