About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly analytical and innovative Senior Data Scientist to join their team in Southampton . In this role, you will leverage advanced statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms to extract actionable insights from complex datasets, driving data-informed decision-making across the organization. You will be responsible for developing predictive models, conducting in-depth analyses, and communicating findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement sophisticated machine learning models and algorithms.
• Clean, transform, and analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends and patterns.

Requirements

• Master's degree or PhD in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
• 5+ years of professional experience as a Data Scientist .
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R , and relevant libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Expertise in statistical modeling, data mining, and machine learning techniques.
• Experience with SQL and working with large-scale datasets and distributed computing frameworks (e.g., Spark).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
