About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly analytical and skilled Senior Data Scientist to join their growing team in Brighton . Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement sophisticated statistical models and machine learning algorithms to solve business problems.
• Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
• Develop and deploy predictive models for forecasting, customer segmentation, and risk assessment.
• Communicate complex findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate data science solutions into production systems.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Scientist or in a similar analytical role.
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, and experience with relevant libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Solid understanding of statistical modeling, machine learning techniques , and experimental design.
• Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop) and database querying (SQL).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
