About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced and analytical Senior Data Scientist to join their remote-first team. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sophisticated statistical models and machine learning algorithms to solve complex business problems.
• Conduct in-depth data analysis, identify trends, and generate actionable insights to inform strategic decisions.
• Design and execute A/B tests and other experiments to validate hypotheses and measure impact.
• Build and maintain data pipelines and data models to support analytical needs.
• Communicate complex findings and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders through compelling visualizations and presentations.
• Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to the advancement of the data science practice within the company.

Requirements

• Master's or Ph.D. in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a Data Scientist or in a similar analytical role.
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, and experience with data science libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Expertise in SQL and experience with big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop).
• Proven experience with statistical modeling, machine learning, and predictive analytics.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to thrive in a remote team setting.
