Senior Deep Learning Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Deep Learning Engineer to join their advanced R&D team in Derby . Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and train state-of-the-art deep learning models.
• Conduct research and experimentation to explore new DL architectures and techniques.
• Optimize model performance for accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
• Collaborate with data scientists and software engineers to deploy models into production.
• Develop robust data pipelines and evaluation metrics for DL projects.
• Stay abreast of the latest developments in the field of deep learning and AI.

Requirements

• MSc or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with a deep learning focus.
• 4+ years of professional experience in deep learning engineering or research.
• Strong programming skills in Python and expertise with deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras).
• Solid understanding of various neural network architectures (CNNs, RNNs, Transformers).
• Experience with data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation.
• Experience with GPU computing and distributed training is a plus.
