About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Deep Learning Engineer to join their advanced research and development team in Reading . This role is focused on designing, building, and deploying sophisticated deep learning models for complex challenges across various domains. You will work with large datasets, cutting-edge neural network architectures, and high-performance computing infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong theoretical background in deep learning and practical experience in implementing and optimizing deep learning solutions at scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, train, and fine-tune state-of-the-art deep learning models (e.g., CNNs, RNNs, Transformers).
• Develop and implement efficient algorithms for data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation.
• Optimize model performance for speed and accuracy, potentially deploying on edge devices or cloud platforms.
• Collaborate with researchers and engineers to integrate DL models into products and services.
• Contribute to the research and development of novel deep learning techniques.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the team's technical growth.

Requirements

• Master's or PhD in Computer Science, AI, or a related field with a focus on deep learning.
• 5+ years of experience in deep learning engineering and model development.
• Strong proficiency in Python and deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras.
• Solid understanding of fundamental DL concepts, mathematics, and algorithms.
• Experience with GPU computing and distributed training environments.
