About the Role
Our client is a leader in AI and Emerging Technologies and is looking for a highly skilled Senior Deep Learning Engineer to join their distributed, remote-first team. This role is central to designing, building, and optimizing state-of-the-art deep learning models for complex AI applications. You will tackle challenging research problems, implement advanced neural network architectures, and contribute significantly to the company's innovative product development. Working entirely remotely, you'll collaborate with a global team of talented engineers and researchers, leveraging cutting-edge tools and methodologies to drive significant advancements in AI, contributing to projects that have a broad impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement advanced deep learning models and algorithms for various AI applications.
- Optimize model performance, inference speed, and scalability for production deployment.
- Conduct research into new deep learning techniques and architectures, applying them to solve real-world problems.
- Collaborate effectively with remote team members through online collaboration tools and regular virtual meetings.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, and participate in rigorous code reviews.
Requirements
- Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, AI, or a related field with a specialization in deep learning.
- 5+ years of professional experience in deep learning engineering and model development.
- Proficiency in Python and deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras.
- Strong understanding of various neural network architectures (CNNs, RNNs, Transformers) and their applications.
- Experience with cloud computing platforms and ML Ops practices is highly desirable.
