About the role
As a Senior Developer, you will help shape the future of digital policing by designing, building and improving innovative low-code solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 technologies. Working closely with users, stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams, you will create secure, scalable and user-centred applications, automations and digital services that improve operational effectiveness and user experience. What you will be doing
- Design, develop and enhance secure,scalableand user-centred solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 technologies.
- Build applications, automations,integrationsand digital services that improve user experience, operationalefficiencyand organisational outcomes.
- Work with Service Owners, Business Analysts,Architectsand users to translate business needs into effective digital solutions.
- Develop Power Apps, Power Automate workflows, Dataverse solutions, Power BI reporting and AI-enabled capabilities including Microsoft Copilot technologies.
- Apply secure-by-design principles, governance standards and engineering best practices throughout the solution lifecycle.
- Support the continuous improvement of digital services through automation, integration,innovationand data-driven insights.
- Promote the reuse of applications,componentsand automation patterns to accelerate delivery and reduce complexity.
- Contribute to the growth of Power Platform andDDaTcommunities by sharing knowledge, supportingcolleaguesand championing modern development practices
About you and your experience
- Experience designing,developingand supporting low-code solutions using Microsoft Power Platform technologies.
- Experience working with Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online,automationand integration technologies to deliver business outcomes.
- A strong understanding of user-centred design, modern development practices and delivering secure, scalable digital solutions.
- Experience applying governance, security, privacy and compliance principles within Microsoft 365 and Power Platform environments.
- A passion for innovation, continuous improvement and the use of automation and AI-enabled technologies to transform services.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams and engage with a range of stakeholders.
- Microsoft Power Platform certification (such as PL-900, PL-100, PL-200 or equivalent) and a commitment to continuous professional development.
