Senior DevOps Engineer - CI/CD Automation

About the Role

Our client is seeking a motivated and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join their fully remote engineering team. You will be instrumental in streamlining the software delivery lifecycle, implementing robust monitoring solutions, and ensuring the scalability and security of their cloud-based systems. Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and application deployments using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet.
• Implement and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
• Collaborate with software development teams to optimize application performance and reliability.
• Ensure the security of the infrastructure and applications through best practices and regular audits.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues, ensuring minimal downtime.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of experience in DevOps or SRE roles, with a strong focus on automation.
• Proven experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and configuration management tools.
• Solid understanding of networking, security principles, and infrastructure-as-code practices.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, especially in a remote setting.
