Our client is looking for a highly motivated Senior DevOps Engineer with a specialization in CI/CD to enhance their development and deployment pipelines in Glasgow . Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines for automated software builds, testing, and deployments.
- Implement and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet.
- Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to improve reliability and scalability.
- Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot deployment issues and optimize application performance.
- Manage and automate cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and container orchestration platforms (Kubernetes).
- Develop and maintain system documentation, operational procedures, and disaster recovery plans.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps or system administration, with a strong focus on CI/CD.
- Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or Azure DevOps.
- Strong scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell) and experience with IaC tools.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and experience working in agile environments.
