Senior DevOps Engineer - Cloud Infrastructure

About the Role

Our client in Derby is seeking a highly experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to build and maintain robust, scalable cloud infrastructure. You will be responsible for automating deployment pipelines, managing cloud resources, and implementing best practices in CI/CD, monitoring, and incident response. Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage scalable and secure cloud infrastructure on platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated application deployment, testing, and release management.
• Implement and manage infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Set up and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure system health and performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues, ensuring minimal downtime and rapid recovery.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to optimize the software development lifecycle and improve deployment efficiency.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or a related role, with a strong focus on cloud infrastructure.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) and IaC tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
• Hands-on experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD principles and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and networking concepts.
