Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join their growing team in Milton Keynes , with a strong emphasis on remote collaboration. Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated application deployment and testing.
- Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure on platforms such as AWS , Azure, or GCP, ensuring scalability and cost-efficiency.
- Implement and enforce infrastructure as code (IaC) principles using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement proactive solutions to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Develop and maintain scripting for automation of operational tasks using languages like Python or Bash.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to foster a culture of shared responsibility and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of experience in a DevOps, SRE, or similar role, with a strong understanding of cloud environments .
- Proficiency with infrastructure automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation.
- Strong knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with proven ability to work effectively in a remote team setting.
