About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join their fully remote team, operating from Belfast and across the UK. In this critical role, you will be instrumental in building and maintaining robust, scalable, and automated infrastructure that supports the company's software development lifecycle. You will focus on improving deployment pipelines, enhancing system reliability, and ensuring the security of our cloud-based environments. Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated building, testing, and deployment of applications.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Manage and monitor cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure) ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.
- Implement and manage containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes .
- Proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and operational issues.
- Collaborate closely with software development teams to optimize workflows and improve system reliability.
- Ensure compliance with security best practices and conduct regular security audits.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering .
- Proven experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Strong proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and IaC tools.
- Expertise in container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes .
- Solid understanding of networking, security principles, and monitoring tools.
