About the Role
Our client is actively seeking a skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to enhance their infrastructure and deployment processes in Cardiff . This critical role focuses on building, automating, and scaling our client's cloud-based infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration between development and operations teams. You will be responsible for designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines, managing cloud resources, and driving best practices in automation, monitoring, and system reliability. Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage scalable and resilient cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Develop and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment processes.
- Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) solutions using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Monitor system performance, availability, and security, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
- Automate operational tasks and workflows to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth application deployment and operational stability in Cardiff .
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of infrastructure automation.
- Proficiency with cloud platforms such as AWS , Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Hands-on experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Expertise in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
- Solid understanding of networking concepts, security principles, and system monitoring tools.
