About the Role
Our client is looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior DevOps Engineer to join their fully remote engineering team. You will play a critical role in building, automating, and scaling the infrastructure that powers their innovative software products. This position is ideal for someone passionate about infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native technologies. You will be instrumental in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our client's systems, working collaboratively with development and operations teams across different time zones. Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage scalable and resilient cloud infrastructure on AWS .
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI for automated builds, testing, and deployments.
- Implement and manage infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to ensure high availability and optimal resource utilization.
- Automate operational tasks and incident response processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance and troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps or a related systems engineering role.
- Proven experience with cloud platforms, particularly Amazon Web Services (AWS) .
- Strong expertise in containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes .
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform).
- Experience with CI/CD tools and best practices for automated deployment.
- Excellent understanding of networking, security principles, and monitoring tools.
