About the Role
Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join their entirely remote technology team. You will be instrumental in building and maintaining robust, scalable, and automated infrastructure that supports our software development lifecycle. This role involves fostering collaboration between development and operations teams, implementing CI/CD pipelines, managing cloud resources, and ensuring system reliability and performance. Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage scalable and reliable cloud infrastructure, primarily on AWS or Azure .
- Develop and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines for code deployment, testing, and infrastructure provisioning using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
- Implement and manage containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes .
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure high availability and optimal performance.
- Collaborate with development teams to streamline the software development lifecycle and improve deployment processes.
- Define and enforce DevOps best practices , security standards, and operational excellence across the engineering organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in a DevOps or similar infrastructure engineering role.
- Proven expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and associated services.
- Strong experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and containerization technologies.
- Excellent understanding of networking, security, and system administration principles.
