Senior DevOps Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join their innovative technology team based in Manchester . You will be responsible for building and maintaining scalable, reliable, and secure cloud infrastructure, automating deployment pipelines, and enhancing operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated application deployment and infrastructure provisioning.
• Develop and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure on platforms like AWS or Azure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
• Implement robust monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure system health and performance.
• Automate operational tasks and processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to troubleshoot issues and optimize system performance.
• Ensure security best practices are integrated into all aspects of the infrastructure and deployment processes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or a related infrastructure engineering role.
• Strong expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS , Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Proficiency with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Experience with IaC tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Solid understanding of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
