About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join their fully remote, dynamic engineering team. You will be responsible for automating and streamlining development and deployment processes, ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of their systems. Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment processes.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Manage and monitor cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure) ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.
- Implement robust monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to proactively identify and resolve issues.
- Collaborate with software development teams to optimize application performance and deployment strategies.
- Champion DevOps best practices, including containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and automation.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in DevOps engineering and system administration.
- Proficiency with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code tools and configuration management.
- Demonstrated ability to build and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
- Expertise in containerization technologies (Docker) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes).
- Excellent scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash) and a solid understanding of networking and security principles.
