Senior DevOps Engineer

About the Role

Our client is looking for a seasoned Senior DevOps Engineer to join their expanding IT department in Leeds . You will be responsible for automating and streamlining our client's build, test, and deployment processes, implementing robust monitoring, and fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or Ansible.
• Develop and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems for production environments.
• Automate operational tasks and ensure the availability, performance, and security of systems.
• Collaborate closely with software developers and QA engineers to optimize the software delivery lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong proficiency with cloud platforms such as AWS , Azure , or GCP.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
• Expertise in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) and configuration management tools.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and experience working in a hybrid environment in Leeds .
