About the Role
Our client, a rapidly expanding SaaS company headquartered in Cardiff , is looking for a proactive and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to enhance their infrastructure and deployment capabilities. This role is crucial for ensuring the seamless operation, scalability, and reliability of their cloud-based platform. You will be responsible for building and maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines, automating infrastructure provisioning, and implementing effective monitoring and logging solutions. Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment processes.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Implement and maintain robust logging, monitoring, and alerting systems.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to improve system efficiency and deployment speed.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of CI/CD principles.
- Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Solid knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
