The Team
A&M’s UK executive compensation team has been advising since 2020. It is led by three experienced practitioners and supports a broad range of companies and remuneration committees in developing and executing remuneration arrangements aligned with their strategies, cultures, and stakeholders. The team advises around 10 % of the FTSE 100, with clients in the FTSE 250, Small Cap, and private companies. It operates within the People Services section of A&M Tax, alongside People, Reward and Performance, Equity Reward, and Employment Taxes.
Senior Director – Executive Compensation
Role Overview
This role offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Director to lead the continued growth of A&M’s executive compensation practice.
Responsibilities
- Provide main support to Partners as trusted independent advisors to large clients.
- Lead client relationships and serve as trusted advisor to Remuneration Committees, senior executives, and boards of medium‑sized clients, typically outside the FTSE 100.
- Originate and drive business development, identifying opportunities, leading proposals, and contributing to the overall growth strategy of the practice.
- Oversee multiple engagements, ensuring quality, timeliness, and commercial delivery while maintaining high client satisfaction.
- Play a key role in practice leadership, contributing to strategic direction, service innovation, and market positioning.
- Lead, develop, and mentor teams, fostering a high‑performance and collaborative culture.
- Engage with external stakeholders such as institutional investors and proxy advisors, providing insight into evolving governance and market expectations.
- Drive thought leadership and market presence, including publishing insights, speaking at events, and enhancing A&M’s reputation in executive compensation.
- Ensure technical excellence, drawing on deep expertise across executive pay design, governance, and regulatory developments.

- Extensive experience in executive compensation advisory, ideally within professional services or a specialist consultancy.
- Strong commercial acumen with a proven track record in business development and client leadership.
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex client engagements and senior stakeholder relationships.
