Senior Director of Compute Services

• You will work closely with thought leaders to define the future of AI computing infrastructure covering bare metal deployment, kubernetes, container registry and virtualization
• Define and drive the engineering roadmap for CoreWeave compute products
• Lead and grow high-performing engineering teams, including managers and senior ICs, responsible for building and operating security-critical services
• Own the availability, reliability, and performance of security product services in production, including SLIs/SLOs, incident management, and on-call practices
• Partner closely with Product Management to translate customer requirements into clear technical designs and delivery plans
• Oversee the architecture and implementation of secure, scalable, and auditable systems that power customer and internal workloads
• Collaborate with customer-facing teams (Sales, Solutions, Customer Experience) to support complex enterprise deployments and unblock high-impact opportunities
• Establish and continuously improve engineering processes, quality bars, and operational best practices for security products in a rapidly growing environment

Experience building and mentoring diverse, inclusive, and high-performing engineering teams in a fast-paced environmentDemonstrated experience collaborating with Product Management and Security/Compliance teams to prioritize trade-offs and ship customer-facing platform capabilitiesStrong understanding of enterprise security concepts such as authentication, authorization, least privilege, encryption at rest and in transit, and audit loggingExperience designing and operating distributed systems with high availability, strong correctness requirements, and clear operational ownershipProven track record of delivering at scale compute product products at a cloud provider, security company, or large-scale SaaS, preferably in an AI or Machine Learning environment5+ years of engineering leadership experience, including directly managing other managers and scaling multi-team organizations10+ years of experience in software or infrastructure engineering building and operating production servicesYou’ve worked at a cloud provider or hyperscaler and understand the scale and complexityYou want to get into the technical details and solve problems by working directly with engineersYou want to work directly with the customers of your servicesWondering if you’re a good fit?
