Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed drilling programs, including well design, casing design, and fluid selection.
• Oversee and manage drilling operations on-site, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and budgets.
• Identify and mitigate drilling risks, developing contingency plans for potential operational challenges.
• Optimize drilling performance through the application of best practices and new technologies.
• Conduct post-drilling analysis and performance reviews to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with supply chain and logistics teams to ensure timely procurement of materials and services.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in drilling engineering and operations.
• In-depth knowledge of drilling techniques, equipment, and associated risks.
• Experience with well planning software and directional drilling operations.
• Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations in the oil and gas sector.
• Excellent leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
