Senior E-commerce Analyst

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly analytical and experienced Senior E-commerce Analyst to join their remote team, supporting operations across the UK, including Edinburgh . You will play a critical role in driving data-informed decisions by analyzing e-commerce performance, identifying key trends, and providing strategic insights to optimize sales, customer experience, and marketing efforts. Key Responsibilities

• Analyze e-commerce sales data , website traffic, user behavior, and marketing campaign performance to identify trends and opportunities.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) for e-commerce operations.
• Conduct deep-dive analyses to understand customer acquisition costs, lifetime value, and conversion funnels.
• Provide actionable recommendations to the marketing, product, and operations teams to improve performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and reporting needs for new initiatives.
• Utilize statistical methods and A/B testing to validate hypotheses and measure the impact of changes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in e-commerce analytics , business intelligence, or a related data analysis role.
• Strong proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, or R, and BI platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Expertise in using web analytics tools like Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics.
• Deep understanding of e-commerce metrics, funnel analysis, and customer segmentation.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience working in a remote team environment is advantageous.
