About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior E-commerce Manager to lead their online retail operations. This pivotal role, based remotely, will be responsible for driving online sales growth, enhancing customer experience, and optimizing the digital storefront. You will work closely with marketing, merchandising, and technology teams to develop and execute a comprehensive e-commerce strategy that aligns with the company's overall business objectives. The ideal candidate is a data-driven leader with a proven track record in managing successful online retail platforms and possesses a deep understanding of the e-commerce landscape, working in a fully remote capacity to achieve ambitious targets for our client.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive e-commerce strategy to drive revenue growth and market share.
- Manage all aspects of the online store, including website performance, user experience, product merchandising, and checkout process optimization.
- Analyze sales data, customer behavior, and market trends to identify opportunities for improvement and growth.
- Oversee the execution of online marketing campaigns, including SEO, SEM, social media, and email marketing, to drive traffic and conversions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of e-commerce operations with other business functions.
- Manage the e-commerce budget, forecasting, and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in e-commerce management , with a focus on online retail.
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing strategies that have significantly increased online sales and profitability.
- Proficiency with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify Plus, Magento, Salesforce Commerce Cloud) and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics).
- Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, including SEO, SEM, social media advertising, and email marketing.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Experience in managing remote teams and fostering a collaborative virtual work environment.
