About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Early Years Educator to join their esteemed setting in Cambridge . This role involves a hybrid working arrangement, combining direct hands-on experience with children in the nursery with responsibilities for curriculum planning, staff mentorship, and parent engagement, potentially involving remote communication. You will be pivotal in leading educational activities, ensuring a stimulating and nurturing environment, and upholding the highest standards of childcare. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and delivery of high-quality, play-based learning experiences for children aged 0-5.
• Mentor and support junior educators, providing guidance on best practices and professional development.
• Oversee the assessment and tracking of children's progress, ensuring individual needs are met.
• Liaise with parents and families, fostering strong partnerships and facilitating effective communication, including virtual updates when necessary.
• Ensure compliance with all safeguarding policies, health and safety regulations, and curriculum frameworks.
• Contribute to the overall management and strategic development of the nursery.

Requirements

• A relevant qualification in Early Childhood Education (e.g., Level 3 Diploma or equivalent).
• Significant experience working in an early years setting, with demonstrable leadership capabilities.
• In-depth knowledge of the EYFS framework and child development theory.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage time effectively and adapt to hybrid working demands.
