Senior Early Years Practitioner

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced and passionate Senior Early Years Practitioner to join their dedicated team in Cambridge . In this role, you will take a lead in curriculum development and delivery, mentor junior staff, and contribute significantly to creating an exceptional learning environment for young children. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to the planning and implementation of a creative and stimulating curriculum based on the EYFS framework .
• Provide mentorship and guidance to other members of the early years team, fostering their professional growth.
• Conduct in-depth observations and assessments of children's progress, documenting their learning journeys.
• Act as a key person for a group of children, building strong relationships and supporting their individual needs.
• Ensure the highest standards of safeguarding, health, and safety are maintained within the setting.

Requirements

• A minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Childcare and Education.
• Significant practical experience working with children in an early years setting, preferably with some mentoring or supervisory experience.
• Deep understanding of child development, learning theories, and the Early Years Foundation Stage .
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational abilities.
